Mesa Arizona

Ahhh…Arizona. My first taste of Arizona was on our honeymoon. We spent a day in Phoenix and three days in Sedona. Like most vacations, it wasn’t long enough! We loved Arizona – the climate, the people, the architecture, the new-to-us landscape, the history. Personally, I was most intrigued by the ancient Native American ruins and culture. Some artifacts and pictographs are dated back to the ice age, and it’s right here on American soil! Arizona is a beautiful state. We hope to visit again soon, but until then…a custom home portrait set in Arizona is just as sweet!

Located in downtown Charlotte, NC this historic home has caught all the attention, and deservingly so. Our client commissioned this home portrait as a Christmas gift for his sister, who, obviously, supports our color theory. We chose a rich blue sky to contrast the glowing autumn trees. A special touch for autumn lovers, we embellish the season by adding fallen leaves on the sidewalks and landscape. [...am I the only one who likes to crunch the leaves?]
